Learning the science of a crime scene

The scene of a murder is no place for on-the-job detective training. Mark Curtis visits a college course where forensic science students gather evidence in a mock crime scene--but the blood stains are real!

Their instructor, who worked crime scenes for 26 years, shows how blood can give more clues than just DNA. Students learn to work though the delicate process of gathering and analyzing evidence without tainting it.
