No freeway closures planned in Valley on holiday weekend

Because of the Fourth of July holiday, there will be no Valley freeway road closures this weekend.

The Arizona Department of Transportation urges drivers to be careful when driving in existing work zones, including those on Interstate 17 in north Phoenix and Interstate 10 in the West Valley where crews are constructing new lanes and making other improvements.
